It is with great enthusiasm that we at Clay Central-Everly High School approach the 2009-2010 school year, for all of us at CC-E share the same mission, “…to develop and maintain a safe and positive environment that promotes a sense of self worth, responsibility, high expectations, and life-long learning within our ever changing society.”  Because of our exceptional programs and the achievements of our students and staff, CC-E has received national recognition: Designated as a 2007 Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education.  We can’t, however, rest on our laurels. 

A focus of ours this year will be to help make CC-E an even stronger and more effective community of learners, and a place where both students and staff feel proud of accomplishments.  Students at Clay Central-Everly High School may look forward to many highly rewarding educational and personal experiences.  New academic areas will be explored, new friendships will be made, new perspectives on life will be developed, and the opportunity to mature in one of the finest high schools in Iowa will be offered.

At CC-E, we would like each student to achieve a high level of academic success as well as personal skills such as respect, a strong work ethic and a cooperative attitude.  These are some of the skills that are vital for life now and after high school.

CC-E is a team, and together we will continue the CC-E tradition of excellence.  We look forward to working with you this school year to achieve our shared goal of helping students reach their potential in a setting that is respectful, motivating, and challenging.
