100 Point Club

Congratulations to our “100 Point Club” for 2008-2009. Each of these students from grades 2-4 earned at least 100 AR points or more. In Mrs. Cronk’s 3rd grade class, every student got 100 points or more. A special congratulations to the 3rd graders, you did great.

These 4 students earned the most AR the most points.
Skylor K. 4th grade earned 615 AR Points. He received a movie gift card and a Subway certificate.
Dayton B. 4th grade earned 304 AR Points
Gage B. 3rd grade earned 324 AR Points
John G. 2nd grade earned 320 AR Points
They each received a Subway gift card.
Congratulations to these 4 students.

The libraries in the Royal building checked out over 20,000 books this year. Congratulations to all of the students and their teachers.

We had a very successful year with our BoxTops for Education. We collected over 14,000 BoxTops. We received a check for $1418.00. The money will be spent in the elementary library. We will be doing another BoxTop promotation in the fall during the bookfair. In the spring we will do a class contest. Remember to save your BoxTops over the summer. Thank you to everyone who collects for this project

The 5th grade also had a very successful AR year. Students in 5th grade who earn 100 points or more get to go one the AR incentive trip to King's Pointe Waterpark in Storm Lake on the last day of school.

Congratulations to these students who earned 200 or more AR Points during this school. Katrina McCarty earned the most points with 469.
